    • Pineapple Toss

      a lively mix of black beans, corn, peppers, onion, pineapple, jalapeno pepper tossed in a dressing of orange juice and cumin .

    • Spinach Salad

      it's out most popular salad choice. leafy spinach, strawberries, sliced mushrooms, bacon, hard boiled eggs, maybe some orange slices. topped off with mom's dressing.

    • Citrus Toss

      fruit includes mango (in season), oranges and pineapple tossed in a homemade dressing of pure, hand squeezed, orange, lime, and lemon juices with a little flax seed. a few pieces of green onion and sampling of cherry tomato are surprise touches. you'll be surprised how good it tastes! a customer favorite.

    • Broccoli Harvest

      a favorite side, this "harvest" includes a bounty of fresh broccoli, red onion, celery, peppers, cheese and bacon artfully tossed in a mayonnaise dressing.

    • Coleslaw

      not ordinary at all! we prepare two variations. one with mayo and mandarin oranges, and non-mayo version .

    • Cucumber Salad

      we make a number of variations, from just plain cucumber in a slightly sweet vinegar dressing, to a marriage of cucumbers and tomatoes. it kinda depends on the season.

    • Black Eyed Pea Toss

      for sure - our most requested side. black-eyed peas, tomato, green and red pepper, a little green onion in a homemade sweet /tangy oil and vinegar dressing.

    • Potato Salad

      two versions: one is a traditional german potato salad made with your basic red potatoes and a cooked dressing of bacon, onion and red vinegar. the other is a loaded potato. same basic red potatoes with bacon, shredded cheddar and green onion, in a dressing of sour cream and mayo.

    • Mediterranean Pasta

      rigatoni with broccoli, red and green peppers, red onion, tomato, in a dressing that includes touches of garlic, hot pepper sauce and chili powder.

    • Fruit Melody

      fruits in season are cut up and tossed together for a healthy alternative. served with a dollop of either our fruit flummery or a fruity whipped whirl.

    • Tossed Or Spinach Salad As Side

      greens, cucumber, salad peppers, tomato and onion if you want it. house dressing, raspberry vinaigrette, or ranch on the side or, a smaller version of our spinach salad which includes strawberries, mushrooms, hard boiled egg, and maybe some orange.

    • Not-too-hot Chili

      made with ground beef, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, baked beans and some other stuff. topped with shredded cheddar cheese and served with crackers or slice of bread. its addictive qualities have made this our best seller.

    • Beef Stew

      a regular offering during fall and winter. not fancy, just beef slow cooked for 10 hours in some beer with tomatoes, carrots and potatoes added during the last couple hours.

    • Homemade Tomato Soup

      made from scratch, thick and hearty! topped with our homemade croutons. available as a cup or bowl serving. $1 extra to have a cup as a side.

    • Irmgard's Apple Pie, With Or Without Flourish

      a taste bud delight with a crust best be described as a shortbread or cookie crust, filled with sliced apples, covered with a crumble topping. served warm with a caramel drizzle and a dollops of whipped cream. or, if you're feeling reckless, choose a scoop of ice cream or our cinnamon apples.

    • Betty 's Banana Pbj Cake

      when she left home, betty took her mom's banana cake recipe. then she improvised. the cake is sandwiched between a creamy peanut butter and cream cheese filling and chocolate/cream cheese frosting.some seedless raspberry jam is applied to the chocolate layer.

    • Irmgard's Chocolate Mousse Torte

      seven layers of pure ecstasy, including austrian rum, raspberry cream, chocolate cake, coffee mousse, and marzipan. it would be enough to end there, but irmgard continues by decorating with chocolate morsels and mocha beans. so divine youll lose control!

    • Momma's Quadruple Chocolate Cake

      chocolate cake with chocolate pudding, chocolate chips, & chocolate icing!!it's perfect by itself, we like it heated for just a few seconds...makes the chocolate chips inside & the icing all melty.

    • Weekly Surprises

      what exactly is that? well, currently it could be a cheesecake or new mousse by irmgard, or a coconut/orange cake or church social by betty. church social desserts are the sort of thing you would bring to a pot luck dinner....you know...usually prepared in a 13x9 pan or trifle bowl.
